Communication is difficult. Often times I lack words to build connection and meaning. Consequently, I am left feeling misunderstood and deeply alone. I use my art to help me bridge and connect with my world. I am intrigued with contrast and I make sure to showcase that in my pieces. Even though opposites shouldn't work well together, I am always surprised to see that it does work and in fact compliment each other. I love seeing that in the composition of an art piece.

The name "While She Waited" came about with the help of my friend, it sprouted from the idea that I started creating while I was waiting for the stay-at-home order during Co-vid to be lifted and things would return back to normal. Although the world will never return back to normal, I am still creating and hoping that someone will feel understood and find connection through my pieces.
